Polyamide 11 PA11

Polyamide 11 as a yarn has the following properties:

• low density
  With a density of abt. 1.04 g/cm3, Polyamide 11 is less dense than for example Polyamide 6 or Polyamide 66, meaning PA11 is lighter.
   
• low friction coefficient
   
• low water absorption
  Polyamide 11 absorbs less water in comparison with PA6 or PA66, thus also providing a better dimensional stability
   
• scuff resistance
   
• chemical resistance
  Polyamide 11 has a good to excellent chemical resistance to fuels, oils, water, gases, solvents and industrial fluids
