INTRODUCTION TO ETFE

Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene ETFE is a fluoroplastic similar to PTFE (high corrosion resistance, wide application range of temperature) but with an improved stiffness, a high transparency and a lower specific weight as well as a lower sliding property.

 

ETFE is flame retardant (LOI > 30) as well as resistant to UV radiation. All these properties enable ETFE to be optimally applied in architectural applications, medicine or hoses.
